I strongly believe that children’s books are the most important reading one has in life, with the exception of the classics (though even the classics can appear on a children’s bookshelf from time to time).
Never dusty, children’s books are made to be read, re-read, cherished and shared whatever the reader’s age.
Needless to say, children’s stories are a pleasure and a challenge to write. Feeling inspired with the magnificent wave of children’s literature coming from Scandinavia (that has always been particularly popular in my native country) I have been writing stories where a curious and attentive child encounters magical things that are invisible to adults. In this child’s magical universe, one meets a cat who composes poetry or a talking geranium, a lonely sock that travels around the world.
One day I hope to be able to wrap these stories and publish them in a single volume, until then I will continue to write and share them with you in this blog.
